NO HARD FEELINGS

One Set

8 Characters - 5 men, 3 women

A husband continuously pursues his wife after she leaves him for a waiter.  Everyone in the husband's life now seems to like the waiter better than him, including his partner and their daughter.  

CHARACTERS

GEORGE BARTLETT - A man in his late forties.

ROBERTA BARTLETT - His attractive wife in her early forties.

JIMMY SKOURAS - A waiter in his mid-thirties.

ALEX SPRINGER - George's business partner and contemporary.

FRED - Customer at Jimmy's restaurant.

BUNNY SUTTON - A flashy looking woman in her early forties.

JOANNA WILKINS - George and Roberta's daughter, early twenties.

POLICEMAN - Late twenties.

THE SET - The main set is an old fashioned, lower priced New York apartment.  George and Roberta's bedroom is Stage Right with just a bed.  The restaurant scene can be performed downstage in front of the curtain.

NO HARD FEELINGS opened in April, 1973.  It was directed by Abe Burrows and starred Nanette Fabray, Eddie Albert and Stockyard Channing in her first Broadway show.  The play ran a year in Paris (where it is called  SANS RANCUNE) and toured France for a year and continues to be performed world wide.
